About Us
The Association of African Students In India (AASI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and empowering African students in India. Our main objectives are to unite African students and to address any challenges or problems they may face while studying abroad. As a diverse and vibrant community, we offer a range of programs and services to help African students feel connected and supported. These include academic support, cultural events, and social activities that help students feel at home in India.
What we do
We facilitate the exchange of information, culture and experience among members of the academic community and to contribute to African development by fostering collaboration among its member students; by providing support to their core functions of teaching, learning, research and community engagement; and by facilitating critical reflection and consensus-building around, issues affecting higher education and the development of Africa.
